Private School Enrollment

It is the combination of my experience, nuanced perspective and client dedication that provides a truly holistic solution for families.

I work closely with each of my families to make sure their application is presented in a timely manner and in the best light possible. I not only educate families about the admissions process, but am deeply involved every step of the way. I assist in developing and editing personal essays, as well as conduct interview and exam preparation to help ensure your child has the best chance at a successful enrollment.

Family interviews carry significant weight in the private school admissions process. I hold mock interviews with parents to prepare them for interviewer questions and guide their responses to ensure they provide their child with the best chances for admission.

Student Interviews and Playgroups

Student interviews/playgroups are conducted differently depending on the private school, and I make sure your child is prepared for each unique setting. I ensure your child exhibits the qualities, demeanor, and intelligence that admissions officers look for in applicants.

I spend time with your child in specific settings to assess your child’s behavior and skill set so that they may learn to exhibit the qualities highly valued by admissions officers - from cooperation, leadership and friendship to sportsmanship and likability.

I offer test preparation services for Kindergarten. It is no secret that many of the private schools require applicants to take standardized tests. I have carefully formulated a curriculum that prepares your child to successfully pass these.

Private schools often require that students and parents submit essays and first choice letters as part of the application process. I put effort into making sure your essays are exceptionally written and stand out among the applicant pool.

I work with parents to understand their goals for their child’s education and spend time thinking about a child’s development, temperament, personality and strengths. When I know what “gets a child going,” where their interest lies, and what they’re great at, I can tailor the approach to finding the right private school setting.
